When needed, they return to us for short “vacation stays,” where they are welcomed back like family—making us more like a favorite aunt or uncle than a traditional breeder.
For the right home, this is an incredibly special opportunity. Guardian and co-owner families may receive one of our exceptionally raised puppies at a significantly reduced cost—or even no cost, depending on the agreement. But more than that, it’s a chance to be part of something meaningful: the intentional development of the American Moxie. At the same time, this partnership is not for everyone. It requires a deep level of responsibility, communication, and trust. Guardian and co-owner homes must be fully committed to co-parenting their dog alongside us, following agreed-upon guidelines, and supporting the dog’s role within our program when needed.
